You are never lost for something to do at Gaveston Hall.
Indoor entertainment includes a large games room with table tennis and pool tables and there is an indoor swimming pool available all year round.
Music can be played indoors up to 11pm.
Outside there is plenty to entertain all ages with play areas, a football field, fishing lake, tennis court, woodland & stream walks, and footpaths leading to the Downs Link Bridleway. Popular activities include den building, pond dipping and scavenger hunts.
There is also a huge picnic area, BBQ and campfire site.
Badminton, cricket, pre-planned country walks and carp fishing are also available depending on the time of year.
Catering
Our well equipped kitchen is ideal for catering for big events, and includes :
A commercial gas oven, 2 small electric ovens, a microwave oven and dishwasher.
Large Fridge and freezer.
A tea urn, toaster various oven trays and saucepans, cutlery, mugs, plates and bowls.
Cleaning products and bin liners not included.
Please note kitchen and ovens must be cleaned before departure.
Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's and Waitrose all deliver to our door, so you don't need to worry about bringing your food and drink with you.
Outside caterers can provide any kind of menu from pizza, hog roast fish and chips to a sit down banquet.
There are two local pubs a short stroll away, in the villages of Nuthurst and Maplehurst. They both serve pub grub.
