The accommodation is hostel-style in small chalets and larger dormitories with some single and twin rooms. Larger groups can be catered for using marquees and extra guests’ camping.

With 100 acres of woodland to explore, plenty of onsite activities, dormitory-style accommodation and self-catering, Gaveston Hall Sussex has hosted numerous school trips from across the UK and from overseas.
Gaveston Hall specialises in affordable group accommodation. The main house can accommodate up to 56 people in large multi-bedded rooms.
There are also 2 doubles, 1 twin and a single room for use by adult group leaders. Close to the main house, there are 3 multi-bed chalets with 12 beds in each one.
Our large, well-equipped kitchen means our guests have the choice of self-catering or using outside caterers. Local supermarkets provide a delivery service and there are two local pubs in Nuthurst and Maplehurst within walking distance, both serving pub grub.
You’re never lost for something to do at Gaveston Hall come rain or shine. From woodland walks, a sports field, camping, a campfire site, and an indoor swimming pool to tennis, indoor games and pool tables, there’s something for everyone the whole year round.
Gaveston Hall has everything you’ll need for your stay and is completely self-contained. With mixed or single sex dormitories, a well-equipped self-catering kitchen, Wi-Fi, free parking, disabled access and a heated pool, our facilities are perfect for group accommodation.
Gaveston hall is also available as a filming & photography Location for TV, film, commercials, photography shoots and content creation. The estate, grounds and buildings make for an attractive backdrop for production companies looking for a unique countryside location.
For longer shoots and projects, the accommodation provides a welcome alternative to commuting to and from the venue.
Stayed for the weekend as part of a community gathering. Ideal for large groups. Big kitchen, large hall, small meeting room and play court in a beautiful large area.
We were there for Silver Sky Festival, we had a room in the main house. Everything was clean and functional, and we had a fantastic time. The huge grounds are kept beautifully.
Had a fantastic time here during a residential trip with my class from Hawridge and Cholesbury. The staff and scenery are lovely and the two goats enjoyed the food we fed them.
